This NDE Dialogue session featured two presenters, Christian Berger and José Ignacio Pichardo.
Christian Berger is a psychologist and Doctorate in Educational Psychology from the University of Illinois, USA. His areas of interest are school violence, as well as the social and emotional development of children and adolescents in the context in which they operate. His presentation was titled “The effect of teachers and school policies on the homophobic bullying report.”
José Ignacio Pichardo Galán has a Bachelor’s Degree and Doctorate in Anthropology from U. Autónoma in Madrid. His research focuses on issues of kinship, family, sexuality, gender, and interculturality. On this occasion, he spoke on “Preventing homophobia and transphobia in schools: from research to public policies. An experience from Spain.”
