Doctor in Philosophy (Complutense University in Madrid) and Master’s in Literary Theory (University of Chile) and is a licensed journalist with a degree in Aesthetics (Pontifical Catholic University of Chile). Director and Full Professor of the Institute of Aesthetics at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
She has published the books “Life and writing: theory and practice of autobiography” (Ediciones UC, 2009) and “The autobiographical pose: essays on Chilean narrative” (Ediciones U. Alberto Hurtado, 2018), in addition to numerous articles in national and international journals. She has worked as a literary critic on the pages of criticism for Intemperie, Letras en linea, 60watts and also, for almost three years, for Revista Santiago (Diego Portales University). She currently directs the FONDECYT Regular project “Carto(corpo)graphy: Spanish-American narrators of the 21st century.”
