Within the framework of the initiatives prior to #COP25, was held the Latin American regional seminar on Climate Change: Biodiversity and Gender.

In it, our director, Claudia Matus, principal investigator of the Center for Educational and Academic Justice of the Faculty of Education UC, was the moderator of the session #GenderEquality. “We have already passed the stage of thinking that gender equality is a necessity; it is an obligation,” concluded the researcher.

In addition, our researcher Olga Barbosa, an academic at the Universidad Austral and director of the Wine, Climate Change and Biodiversity Program – VCCB, was part of the inaugural panel on #Biodiversity. “Scientific evidence is not enough; the study of the human dimension is fundamental to achieve changes, ”said the researcher.
