My research areas are at the intersection of sociologies of gender, elites, and education. Specifically, I am interested in the study of power and privilege from a biographical approach. I have investigated elite private schools and their relation with social structures, the masculinities they produce in the Chilean upper class, political elites, and forms of social participation, sexuality and adolescent parenthood, among other issues.
